Introduced in the late 1920's, the rugged, 50-ton twin hopper proved an invaluable railroad workhorse. In the tradition of other Lionel Standard O rolling stock, such as the PS-5 gondolas, these offset hoppers include an accurate, scale-level of detail. Each car features die-cast metal construction with separately applied metal parts. The Lionel Offset Hoppers are available in four new road names for 2004.
